Terrorism is a military tactic. Conventional armies use it all the time. So so the ragtag bands of irregulars who oppose them.

Like all military tactics, terrorism is rational, deployed in carefully-calculated doses aimed at achieving the one overriding objective of all military effort: to get the other side to stop fighting.

The so-called Global War on Terror (GWOT) has been accompanied by a septic tidal wave of propaganda designed to obscure the simple facts stated above. We are told that that terrorists are irrational fanatics bent on destruction for its own sake. That, of course, is why we must pursue an equally irrational war of vengeance against them.

Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated 42 years ago in the midst of his campaign for the U.S. presidency. Largely overshadowed by the death of his brother, President John F. Kennedy, the official account of RFK’s tragic end, allegedly shot down by a lone gunman, like his brother, has received vastly less attention. In both instances, we are looking at staged events that fit into a recurrent pattern in U.S. and world history where innocent individuals (or “patsies”) are baited and framed for cover-up purposes. Professor James H. Fetzer, an expert in the scientific study of assassinations, provides a sketch of how we know what happened to them and why, where RFK’s assassination was in part intended to prevent a reinvestigation into his brother’s death.

Jesse Ventura article on the events of September 11th was banned by the news website The Huffington Post.

The brain trust that calls itself “The Huffington Post” has disgraced itself and shown the “progressive left” is a cowardly fraud by removing a column guest written by Jesse Ventura about 9/11. The official explanation from no less than Arianna Huffington, presumably, is “Editor’s Note: The Huffington Post‘s editorial policy, laid out in our blogger guidelines, prohibits the promotion and promulgation of conspiracy theories–including those about 9/11. As such, we have removed this post.” Maybe no one explained to these worthies that if any one were to write about 9/11, they would be writing about a conspiracy theory, since the government’s own “official account” is only the most outrageous. And, as Jesse’s new book, AMERICAN CONSPIRACIES (2009) elucidates, there have been many more throughout our history.

Two former CIA officials have admitted to creating a fake video in which intelligence officers dressed up as Osama Bin Laden and his cronies in an effort to defame the terrorist leader throughout the middle east.

The details are outlined in a Washington Post article by investigative reporter and former Army Intelligence case officer Jeff Stein.

Stein’s sources told him that during planning for the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the CIA’s Iraq Operations Group considered creating a fake video of Saddam Hussein engaged in sexual acts with a teenage boy, then flooding Iraq with copies of the tape.

That idea, along with faking Iraqi news bulletins, never came to fruition according to the former CIA officials, because agreement on the projects could not be reached between the Iraq Group and CIA’s Office of Technical Services.

A primetime CBS show that aired last week featured a notable example of so called “propaganda placement”, where a talking point is inserted into the plot in order to shape public perception, often at the behest of the government.

CSI NY’s episode entitled “Point of View” featured a character who researches “conspiracy theories”, such the deliberate dispersal of potentially dangerous chemtrails into the atmosphere.

First the character, a professor, is labeled “odd”, then “anti-American”, before finally he is revealed to be a “domestic terrorist” hell bent on releasing a biological weapon in New York.

As Jerry Mazza explains, America appears to be entering a new “Dark Age” of thought suppression, if Barack Obama’s new “Information Czar”, Cass Sunstein, has his way. According to Sunstein, the people do not have the right to believe in “conspiracy theories”, such as that JFK was taken out by multiple gunmen, that 9/11 was not perpetrated by 19 Islamic fundamentalists under the control of a guy in a cave off in Afghanistan, or that industrial pollution is contributing to global warming. How he could possibly know what is true or false about them is anybody’s guess, since he does not appear to have studied any of them. Those are all “no nos”, to this guy, who, believe it or not, is a former professor at the Harvard School of Law. The new head of “Information Technology for ‘Conspiracy Theories’”, if you can believe that, too, he appears to be the current administration’s response to Joseph Goebbels, who controlled propaganda for The Third Reich. So a professor from Harvard Law is taking the lead in subverting the Constitution. If you thought we had made an advance by electing a president with a background in Constitutional Law, you had better think twice. As Jerry Mazza remarks, “Tom Paine must be rolling in his grave.”
